On Wednesday 11 October, we held our first ever Inside Mobile event in Berlin. The session was led by Christian Haase, Regional Director Germany, who joined our agency in March earlier this year to provide strategic support to our existing clients, as well as expand our client portfolio in the region.
As with our July Inside Mobile event in London (which you can read about here), the focus of the Berlin event was ad fraud; a subject that has dominated the industry this year.
This was highlighted in our opening keynote address from our Head of Media EMEA, Alex Hewson, who addressed the topic head on, talking in detail about the problem and what our agency does to detect and combat it for our clients. Following this, we hosted a panel comprising of Alex, Simon Baptist from TUNE and Grant Simmons from Kochava, with Christian in the role of moderator. During this session, the panellists discussed a range of topics, from where the responsibility of managing and mitigating ad fraud lies, to the role of programmatic and where the industry can go in 2018.
We aim to make our Inside Mobile sessions as insightful and constructive as possible, so our audience go away with a strong understanding of the digital marketing space and how mobile can best support those developing digital marketing strategies.
